To the northwest of the cathedral church extends a courtyard, bordered on the opposite side by the bishop's palace and the clergy house "Sacro Cuore" (Sacred Heart).
A brick kiln from the modern age (between the 17th and 18th centuries) was discovered in excellent condition, with one side covered by the ancient bell tower, which tilted in 1826 due to an earthquake. The hypothesis that it was a glass furnace cannot be excluded, as the opening for the bellows inlet at the bottom of the firing chamber remains.
Furthermore, a "logette" tomb was brought to light, that is, with a restricted housing (the logette itself) for the skull, which housed a prominent figure. Its dating is probably linked to the existence of the antiqua fabrica immediately preceding the Romanesque cathedral, mentioned in a 13th-century inscription. The tomb was reused at different times, and the only grave goods are an iron bracelet and a globular bone pendant.
