The Potenza Inferiore station, now called Potenza Centrale, was inaugurated on August 29, 1880, and has very sober architecture. A succession of entrances with round arches marks the first level of the building, and a projection breaks the linearity of the main facade. The decoration of the facades is limited to the presence of rusticated corners.
