A parchment document attests to its existence as early as 1310. Of reduced structure, it still retains the ancient characteristics, although over the years it has undergone continuous renovations. This little church in dialect is called 'Madonna D'Lurita', that is Madonna di Loreto, to whom the first country festival of the year was dedicated and occurred on March 25. Located at a passage point for farmers who from Potenza, through the San Giovanni gate, went to work the fields north of the city. Inside you can admire a painting of the Annunciation dated 1824 by the Potenza painter Buonadonna.
